Graveyard Pete & the New Appalachian Sound's debut LP is brought to life by an extraordinary group of musicians, each contributing their own unique artistry to the project. At the heart of the band is Aaron DeYarmon, the brilliant songwriter, lead singer, and acoustic guitarist whose evocative lyrics and melodies form the soul of their sound. The band's captain, Will Christoffersen, is a studio genius and multi-instrumentalist, weaving intricate layers as lead guitarist, mandolin player, organist, backup vocalist, and the creative force behind the violin arrangements. Michael Ulery holds it all together with his steady yet inventive bass lines and shines as the second lead guitarist. Carlie Quillin adds depth with her harmonies and steps into the spotlight as lead vocalist and pianist on “Dead on the Ground.” Lynde Wangler completes the lineup with her hauntingly elegant violin work. Adding dynamic energy to the project are contributing drummers Scott Rupp and Los Giles, whose rhythmic precision and creativity elevate the album's sound.
